AMATA, Falmouth - Director

I have had the pleasure of working twice with AMATA, down in Falmouth, Cornwall.

For both projects I directed the BA Acting students in their final shows: the first being Lucy Kirkwood's "The Welkin" in 2022, followed by Shelagh Stephenson's "An Experiment With An Air Pump" in 2024.

In both productions, we focused on refining the skills they have learned throughout their training and tailoring them for the end-user, applying character-centric research, working as part of a professional ensemble and most importantly: "if not now, when?".
